Sub: Parliament of world religions performance TODAY, see you at Gurukul at 4 pm today.
1) Parliament of world religions performance by Gurukul kids today: Per our discussion last Sunday, please bring your kids to Gurukul at 4 pm today in a traditional Indian dressing (not mandatory, only suggested). We will start for the venue together right at 5 pm. Please tell you kids to keep rehearsing (the files of the songs and the lyrics are uploaded on the Gurukul website (SLCgurukul.org–> events and news—> 2015 Parliament of world religions). Date: today. Venue: Salt Lake Mormon Tabernacle on Temple Square downtown. Children and their supervisors/parents will have VIP seating in front, as long as we all go there together and reach in TIME. Parents who can’t make it, please feel free to send their kids with other parents. NO PASSES NEEDED for the parents and kids as long as we go there together. Performance will be seen by thousands of people and will be covered live by the media. PARKING 125 N West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84103.
2) Ramleela: we will have to complete recording on 10/25/2015. If any of the parents/kids are not available that day, please let us know today. We will switch the voice by using some other kid for the recording. Roles on the stage will remain the same.
2) Durga Pooja celebrations in the ICC/temple ONGOING this weekend. No entry fee. Event is full of cultural events and great food. Every one is encouraged to participate. For details: http://ulhaas.org/events/durgapujaannouncement/
